Your unit might need to be cleaned and/or serviced. When a/c units get very dirty it makes it so the condenser has to work harder and it ends up not pushing out the super cold air it’s supposed to (which costs you more money because the condenser is working harder than it should have to – thus using up more electricity).
You should call out a serviceman and see what the problem is – your unit might just need a good cleaning or maybe it needs some freon.

Check your freon level or your filter. You might also have a leak somewhere.

also, A/C’s can only cool the air like 10 degrees or something, so if it is extremely hot, dont expect too much…but call they guys that installed it or a liscensed contractor that services your brand.

it could be your pump is not pumping the water to your filters.

Filter. and check your lines if they are iced over shut if off for a few hours. It could be your Freon but this is the most common issue.

When it happened to me it was the breaker. If the circuit breaker is flipped it may still let the unit blow but only the fan is blowing at this time! Or it could be that you need Freon to be put in the unit, but if that is so then you might have a leek so you should get that checked out!! Well hope this helped!

Normally people use a stand alone air conditioning system at homes. If it is a window or split type, I suspect the air filters are dusty and needs cleaning. Even after this, you still can not get enough cold air, check the systems for possible gas leakage etc. May be system needs a gas recharge. Check the fan motor for its performance. Check if there is any obstruction for cooling coils. Dont forget to check the switches and control panels.
Still you find the air is not cold enough, call service engineer.
Several things could be wrong:
1. Dirty air filter can restrict the air flow down enough that your A/C will freese up and little to no air will end up coming out.
2. Low freon charge, so maybe your freon compressor isn’t running.
3. Compressor isn’t working at all, so all your doing is circulating the inside air.
Call a HVAC repair person.

Check your filter. They may be dirty and need to be vaccuumed.
May need freon.
have the freon check or check the the condenser isn’t iced over
It may be low on refrigerant and need a recharge.
