Just a few years ago Bill Nye the Science Guy was kicked out of a school for giving a presentation wherein he stated that the Moon reflected light from the Sun.

Turns out, the Bible says that the Moon *produces* light, and a lot of people in the audience found it emotionally convenient to interpret everything in the Bible literally….

You can’t create a child that way. It isn’t natural if you believe in creationism, because we believe in Adam and Eve and obviously they weren’t gay. Also, if you believe in Darwinism is isn’t natural, because they believe we come from animals, and animals don’t have gay sex, or else they too couldn’t have children.

I don’t think gays should be picked on or discriminated against, and if they’re willing to make the compromise of calling them civil unions instead of marriages (so it isn’t perceived as an attack on religious beliefs), I’m OK with them paying the government for a license and making their relationships binding legal contracts. It seems like it would end up taking money from the gay community and giving it to divorce lawyers, but it’s OK with me if that’s what they want.
But even still, I think your argument is a little weak. I just haven’t heard anyone say that glasses, air conditioners, cars and pacemakers are natural. I’ve heard people say they are nice inventions, but they don’t say they are natural.
