For those of you who don’t use your AC (air conditioner) when it’s hot – is it for the environment or cost of usage. My bf’s house is HOT and he says he doesn’t turn on the AC for the environment even though I sweat and feel like I’ll pass out and have stopped visiting. Does that make sense?

No, my house has this big fan that circulates the air in the house.
So the whole house gets colder that way.
Its hardly EVER hot here in England.
no
It makes sense that you stopped visiting. Why h e does not turn on the AC, his parents have the answer.
It’s the cost. If I can afford to run the AC I do.
Damn, I hope you live in Maine or something! I couldn’t live without the AC.
cost of environment
we don’t have AC because it’s not healthy. We just open a window.
we dont have AC because its not that hot in here .. the hottest days are about 95 degrees and we can survive with a fan and cold drinks
No I don’t use an air conditioner, because I don’t have one to use, if I did, that thing would be on right now, it’s 95 degrees here in lost angeles, ca
for the cost. i hate when the bill comes and everyone goes crazy at the amount but they dont think about how they leave it on when no ones home just so that it’s fresh when they get home.
I don’t use my AC because it’s broken.
Hah.
the cost. fuck the environment
My parents dont use AC for the cost never used one the enitre time we lived 14 years in that house it sucks and theres only two fans one which my uncle stole and used for the garage it suck andits worse in winter brrr
I do it for both the environment and the cost. However, I don’t turn it off completely, only put it at 80 degrees. And if your boyfriend chose the environment over you, I guess that’s extreme.
tell your boyfriend he is awesome and keep up the good work! we only have one earth lets stop being so selfish!!
i don’t turn on the a/c until it goes to 95 degrees in my room. it has been averaging 100 degrees here.the reason why is because i’m pretty used to it and it’s for both, the environment and cost. since the ac lets out hot air from the back, it makes the outside weather hotter.
but if you really feel like you are going to pass out, i suggest you to turn on the a/c for your health.
I don’t have one ’cause it’s just too darn expensive.
Sometimes I feel like I am going to pass out
but I just stick my head in the freezer.
Though that just wastes electricity which makes no sense.
lol
