Do you have a Natural Gas or Fuel Oil Furnace ? Boiler with Radiators ? Solar ? Electrical ? Geothermal ? Wood-Stove ?
Stay Warm !!
Yeah, I haven’t asked questions in a spell… interesting to see a number of folks who have no idea how their home is heated !!
We have two wood stoves (one in the house and one that heats the ranch office and master suite)… and we have in-floor heating in the kitchen and bathrooms that is electrical and fed off a solar panel.

Natural gas I think, I live in an apartment.
I light my farts
Hey nice to see u asking a question lol I have a boiler with radiators, as I was a child in the 70′s I had a furnace
Winter seal all the windows and door frames.
My heating bill is usually about $60 to $70 when I do this.
Gas-fired central heating throughout, with a couple of additional electric fires in the two main downstairs rooms. We do have a working fireplace but don’t use it very often, and at any rate it would need sweeping if we wanted to use it again, as it hasn’t been done for over 10 years.
I just turn the heat setting on.
yeah i got th A/C on 24/7
Electric heater… we keep it pretty cool and just wear extra clothing if we get cold. I’d rather do solar power though.
We have oil trucked out to our house every month, and we have a boiler
portable heater as well as central heating
We have a central furnace powered by natural gas. Typically, we wait until Halloween to turn it on, but if it’s Indian Summer, we might wait well into November. We get light frost here in winter, but not hard freezes.
Where I grew up, it would have been abnormal to have a heater or fireplace (Hawaii). But on those really cold days when it dropped below 65, my mother would sometimes use a hair dryer, in addition to bundling up.
I have natural gas and radiators in my house. I also have a gas fireplace in my dining room and an electric one in my living room. I’m considering getting a wood burner for the basement because we spend alot of time down there and the radiator thats down there doesn’t heat the whole basement.
wood stove
We have baseboard hot water heating, using natural gas. We used a wood stove for a few years. I loved cooking on it, like my grandmother. It made the house very dirty though.
Gas furnace, electric heat pump and a fire place
